MISSION

The Civilization Society is on a mission to facilitate worldwide unconscious competency in both the application of Logic to the Scientific Method and Healthy Self-Image.

Why?

With individual prejudice gaining increasing popularity, fact-checking being dismissed as irrelevant, and leaders and citizens worldwide debating basic priorities with heightened intensity, the reality of widespread whim and informal reasoning becomes ever more apparent. But with both formal logic's classifications of Consistency, Fact, and Necessity and Sufficiency; and the products of The Scientific Method; mere Persuasion finds itself in the dust. Now add to the mix Healthy Self-Image.

Happily, the worldwide application of Logic to The Scientific Method, and Healthy Self-Image, would end the nonsense that continues to restrain humanity generation after generation.

At The Civilization Society, we are working to convert humanity from dependence on, and obedience to, arbitrary opinion, to competency in the sustainable foundations of Sane and Healthy Civilization. And all humanity must change. So we are celebrating this conversion religiously. We are replacing "ignorance is bliss" with the peace of mind that can be proven. On paper. By all ages. In all walks of life. Again and again. From now on.

Locking down society’s formal reasoning and healthy self-image skills will be a turning point for our species. The methods are available, and a proven distribution mechanism has been in place for thousands of years. Making it happen — is — as easy as changing the subject. You choose. THE CIVILIZATION SOCIETY is community-building character education institution based on dictionary definition and founded in 2020 by Geoffrey O'Driscoll Gray-Lee. Based on Gray-Lee's experience as a screenwriter, and evaluation of similar community-building programs, Gray-Lee regards The Civilization Society, with its focus organizations The Institute of SELF-IMAGE NURTURISM and The Institute of UNIVERSAL COGENCY, to be the essential course of action missing in humanitity's global struggle for civilization.

The Civilization Society is both nonpartisan and a 501(c)(3) PENDING nonprofit charity. The mission of its focus organization The Institute of Self-Image Nurturism is to raise awareness of, educate its members in, and religiously celebrate the application of Healthy Self-Image. The mission of its focus organization The Institute of Universal Cogency is to raise awareness of, educate its members in, and religiously celebrate the application of Logic to The Scientific Method. The Civilization Society's conclusions; its single, practicle Utopian agenda called "Q.E.D."; promotes no political party nor political ideology. It is simply The Civilization Society's collection of findings which are always subject to peer review.

Cherry-picking from proven religious worship and scientific research organizational structures, practices, and terminologies, a congregation of The Civilization Society (a general neighborhood or community group of less than 500 members) is called a Lab. A Lab is overseen by a lay or unpaid Lab Director and Principal Investigator or P.I., typically not having the professional accredition of a Ph.D., who is assisted by Universal Cogency and Self-Image Nurturism graduates and students. A collection of Labs is called an Area Department, a collection of Area Departments is a Regional Department, a collection of Regional Departments is a Multi-Regional Department, and the Multi-Regional Departments taken as a whole constitute The Civilization Society.
